ALICE F. STRAYER

Alice F. Strayer, 80, of Boiling Springs, passed away peacefully at home one Friday, November 1, 2019.

Born in Duquoin, IL on November 1, 1939, she was the drughter of the late Samuel and Flossine (Hubbard) Lappin.  Mrs. Strayer was the widow of Paul W. Strayer, who died April 23, 2018.

She was the last of her immediate family.

Alice graduated from Yokahama High School, Yokahama, Japan.  She was employed for 15 years at the former Piezo Crystal Plant, Carlisle and the Peter J. Sweitzer Papermill, Mt. Holly Springs, PA.

Surviving are two sons:  Paul Strayer (Laurie) and Michael Strayer (Connie) of Boiling Springs; two daughters:  Tina Minio (Anthony) of Baltimore, MD and Linda Weaver (Tom) of Enola; four grandchildren:  Brooke Strayer, Nicholas Minio, Jared Strayer and Kirstin Strayer.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 P. M. Friday, November 8, 2019 at Mt. Zion Cemetery, Boiling Springs, with Pastor Brian Warner officiating.  There will be nor viewing or visitation.

Ronan Funeral Home, Carlisle, in is charge of arrangements.
