BETTY P. JUMPER
Betty Patricia (Skelly) Jumper, 90, of Mechanicsburg, and formerly of Carlisle, passed away on Tuesday, April 18, 2017 at home.
Born February 8, 1927 in Mt. Holly Springs, she was a daughter of the late Albert Lawrance Lee and Mauda Alma (Wilson) Skelly.
She was the widow of Roger Jumper, who passed away January 15, 1979.
Mrs. Jumper had been employed as a butcher at the former A&P, and the Village Food Market. She had also been employed by Kruger’s Dairy Store and Dr. Lawrence in Carlisle.
Surviving are a daughter: Connie Zipay (husband John) of Mechanicsburg; a son: Roger Lee Jumper (and wife Carol) of Carlisle; a brother: Dick Skelly; seven grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren and five great great grandchildren.
Private funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family in Westminster Cemetery, Carlisle. Burial will be in Westminster Cemetery. There will be no viewing or visitation.
The family requests that flowers be omitted and memorial contributions be made to the Helen O. Krause Animal Foundation, Inc., P O Box 311, Mechanicsburg, Pa 17055-0311.
