Betty Louise (Putt) Keck

 Betty Louise Keck, 86 of Carlisle, Pa passed away February 8th, 2025 in her home surrounded by her loving family. 

 Betty Keck was born on May 21, 1938 to the late Wilber and Ethel ( Cornman) Putt of Boiling Springs, PA.

 Betty is survived by her two daughters Cynthia Cornell (Ron) of Duncannon, PA, and Stephanie Thomas of Carlisle, PA. Betty has four grandchildren: Nicholas Peters (Liana) of Hummelstown, PA, Mathiew Cornell of Dauphin, PA, Amanda Peters (Thomas) of Dallastown, PA, and Krystina Kolanda (Ryan) of Mechanicsburg, PA and five great-grandchildren. 

 She is also survived by two brothers Lester Putt (Sylvia) of Boiling Springs, PA and Gerald Putt (Kathy) of Harrisburg, PA.

 Betty was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Richard Keck, two sons Bryan Keck and Gregory Keck, her mother Ethel Putt, father Wilbur Puttand three brothers Rev Robert Putt, Ronald Putt and Marlin Putt.

 Betty was a homemaker most of her life, and enjoyed taking care of people in their homes.

 Betty was a member of the West Shore Evangelical Free Church of Mechanicsburg, PA and the Carlisle First Church of God. At Carlisle First Church of God, she attended Wednesday Night Bible Study with her husband, being part of the Jolly Old Timers and being involved with the Pairs and Spares Sunday school class.

Betty was a 1956 graduate of Boiling Springs High School where she played the bass drum, managed the basketball team and worked the score board during sports events. Betty enjoyed crocheting/knitting hats for babies at local hospitals and lap robes for shut ins at local nursing homes and veterans hospital. Betty loved camping, traveling, watching Wheel of Fortune, putting puzzles together, cooking/baking with her family. 

 Betty was so kind to everyone that she met.

 Funeral services will be held Thursday, February 13, 2025 at 2:00 PM from the Ronan Funeral Home, 255 York Road, Carlisle, with the Rev. Michael Poe officiating. Burial will be private in Westminster Memorial Gardens, Carlisle. Viewing will be at the funeral home on Thursday from 1:oo PM until time of service. 

 In lieu of flowers and contributions may be made to the Pennsylvania Wounded Warriors, 1013 Mumma Road, Suite 203, Wormleysburg, PA 17043.
