BETTY J. KOZIER

Betty J. Kozier, 85, of Boiling Springs, died Sunday, August 9, 2015 in the Carlisle Regional Medical Center.

Born January 25, 1930 in Natrona Hieghts, PA, she was a daughter of the late John and Mary (Kolek) Chertik.  She later moved to Natrona, PA, where she grew up. She was the widow of Leo H. Kozier to whom she was married for 55 years and who died February 27, 2008.

Mrs. Kozier was a 1948 graduate of St. Joseph High School, Natrona, PA.

Mrs. Kozier had been employed at the Boiling Springs High School Cafeteria for a number of years. Earlier in life she was a beautician in her own shop.  She was a member of St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church, Carlisle.

Surviving are two daughters:  Nanette Tomlinson (Craig) of Matthews, NC and Cindy Kozier of Boiling Springs and two grandsons:  Eric and Steven Tomlinson.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:0 0 A. M. Wednesday, August 12, 2015 from St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church, 85 Marsh Drive, Carlisle, with Fr. Donald Bender as celebrant.  Burial will be in St. Patrick Catholic Cemetery. Viewing will be at the Ronan Funeral Home on Tuesday, August 11, 2015 from 6:00 until 8:0 P. M.  where the Rosary will be recited at 7:30 P. M.
