CAROLYN J. DASHER

Carolyn J. “Steve” Dasher, 87 of Boiling Springs passed peacefully at home on Sunday, June 23, 2024 surrounded by her loving family.

Born May 11, 1937 in Mechanicsburg she was the daughter of the late Harry and Clara (Lebo) Hair.

“Steve” was retired from the Williams Grove Speedway where she was the office manager for many years. She had also driven school bus for Cumberland Valley School District for several years.

She was a member of St. John Lutheran Church, Boiling Springs and the Boiling Springs High School Booster Club. She enjoyed golfing and was the Mayapple Golf Club Champion in 1995.

Mrs. Dasher loved animals as evidenced by her 6 cats and 3 deceased Jack Russell Terriers.

 Surviving are her husband of nearly 70 years, Eddy Dasher and her three children: Cindy Lou (Edward) Koch of Florida, Eddy Lee Dasher (Pam) of Carlisle and Wendy Everett (Eric) of Boiling Springs. Also surviving are a brother, Donald Hair of Camp Hill, grandchildren: Angie Gonnelli, Sarah Koch, Matthew Dasher, Ashley Lupfer, Jesse Koch and Nathan Dasher as well as 8 great grandchildren, 3 step grandsons and 6 step great grandchildren and 1 step great great granddaughter.

 Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 28, 2024 at 12 Noon at St. John Lutheran Church, 111 Walnut Street, Boiling Springs with the Rev. Virginia Cover officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Zion Cemetery, Boiling Springs. Visitation will be at the church on Friday from 10:00 A.M. until time of service.
