Corey Russell Troy, 23, of Carlisle, formerly of Williamsport, passed away July 27, 2015. Corey was born December 10, 1991. He is the son of Christina Bower Trump (and her husband Blane) of Plainfield and Mark Troy of Jersey Shore. He was raised by his maternal grandparents, John and Shirley Selders of Carlisle.

Also surviving are his aunts and uncles, William and Diane Bower of Milton and Charles and Eve Bower of Muncy; his half-sisters Angela Yearick of Lock Haven, Amanda Pittenger of Jersey Shore, and Patricia Gardner of Salladasburg; and many other aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and godchildren.

In addition to his family, Corey is also survived by his fiancé Taylor Ruhe, whom he was to wed on November 7, 2015. He was very much loved by her family, including Justin, Sheri, Chloe, and Colby Page of Boiling Springs. Corey and Taylor were pet parents to three animals that he loved with all his heart—Gunner, Bocephus, and Mufasa.

He was employed by JB Hunt of Harrisburg and previously by Amazon of Carlisle. Corey was a former member of New Kingstown Fire Company 33 and an active member of Wicked Jeeps of Central Pennsylvania. He and his friends enjoyed attending Scott Donato’s Tractor Twang along with truck and tractor pulls. Corey was an avid Wheel Horse Tractor collector and truly loved the music of the Colt Wilbur Band. He enjoyed animals, as well as going fishing, wheeling, and mudding.

Corey was incredibly blessed to have so many close friends in his life that he considered to be his family: Corey Reisinger, his partner Helen Reckline, and their son Chase of York; Bobbie, Rabecca, and Levi Renard of Carlisle; Scott, Michael, Michele, Linda, and Earl Reisinger of Mechanicsburg; Mike Regel of Boiling Springs; Darryle Stewart of Dillsburg; Kyle Hardman and Angelia Hocks of Boiling Springs; Tanner Elias of Shermansdale; Brooke and Casey Brenneman of Carlisle and their parents; Wayne Wickard and Alisha Thrush of Walnut Bottom (and their children); Shane and Lauren Hamilton of Newville; Andrew and Erica Weiser of Carlisle (and their children); Justin and Kelly Murphy of Carlisle (and their fur children); Sherri Gephart and Jake Erb of Enola; along with his sweet Grammy Eve of Milton.
