E. ARLENE DYARMAN

E. Arlene Dyarman, 76, of Carlisle, died Tuesday, Sept. 27, 2011 in the Harrisburg Hospital.

Born July 6, 1935 in New Kingstown, Pa, she was a daughter of the late Merle K. and Hazel R. (Yarlett) Myers. She was the widow of Harper (Junior) Dyarman, who died Nov. 15, 2008.

Mrs. Dyarman was a member of the Big Spring Heights Church of God, Newville.  She was a graduate of Carlisle High School, Class of 1954 and enjoyed sewing, quilting and crocheting.

She was preceded in death by a daughter,  Linda Palm, a son John Dyarman and brothers: Barry L. Myers and Merle Myers.

She is survived by two grandchildren:  Seth Dyarman of Plainfield and Tara Palm of Carlisle; five sisters:  Marie Dyarman, Joyce Shughart and Joann Sanderson, all of Carlisle; Carol Jean Reed of North Carolina and Judy McNew of Dillsburg; and four great grandchildren:  Angel, Talysha, Jason and Christopher.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 1, 2011 from the Ronan Funeral Home, 255 York Road, Carlisle. Viewing will be at the funeral home on Saturday from 9:30 until time of service.  Burial will be in St. Matthew Lutheran Cemetery, Plainfield.
