JOANN M. SHOEMAKER

JoAnn M. Shoemaker, 65, of Carlisle, passed peacefully at home on Thursday, February 16, 2023 surrounded by her family.

Born June 18, 1957 in Carlisle, she was the daughter of the late Robert C. and  Anna M. (Brehm) Shoemaker.

Joann was a 1976 graduate of Carlisle High School.  She was a member of VFW Post 477, Carlisle and the Carlisle Moose Lodge.  She enjoyed Hot Air Ballooning and attending Hershey Bears games.

She had been employed by Brooks Graphics.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister: Barbara Rourke.

Surviving are her son:  Jeremy Conners of California; two sisters:  Bonnie (Steve) Waggoner and Diane Shoemaker, both of Carlisle and her companion Greg Weigle of Carlisle.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, February 21, 2023 at 4:00 PM from the Ronan Funeral Home, 255 York Road, Carlisle with Rev. Kevin Dunlap officiating. Viewing will be at the funeral home on Tuesday from 3-4 PM.
