John C. Legler, 84, of Boiling Springs, passed away at home on October 4, 2022 surrounded by his family.
Born February 10, 1939 in Brooklyn, NY, he was the son of the late Charles and Edith A.(Randolph) Legler.
He received his Bachelor Degree from PACE University where he majored in Accounting.
Mr. Legler was a U S Navy veteran of the Vietnam War.
John was an accountant for Stabler Inc. and later operated his own accounting business doing income taxes for many clients.
A member of Mt. Holly Springs United Methodist Church, he also volunteered for Carlisle Meals on Wheels, along with his wife.
He was preceded in death by a sister: Nancy Gray of Ft. Myers, FL.
Surviving are his wife: Audrey R. Legler; two daughters: Karen Donnelly (Dean) and Susan Legler, both of Boiling Springs; a grandson: Andrew Donnelly of Boiling Springs; a granddaughter: Katelynn Donnelly Piper (Travis) of Boiling Springs and a great grandson: Tamen Piper.
Memorial services will be held on Saturday, October 15, 2022 at 11:00 AM at Mt. Holly Springs United Methodist Church, 202 W. Butler St., Mt. Holly Springs, PA with Pastor Donna Hildebrand officiating. Burial will be at the convenience of the family at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery. Visitation will be at the church on Saturday from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM.
