Joseph Martin

Joseph E. Martin, 70, of Carlisle passed away at home on September 7, 2022.

Born December 18, 1951 in Alabama, he was the son of the late Leroy and Bertha (McClure) Martin.

Mr. Martin was a U S Navy veteran of the Vietnam War, and was an electronics technician.  He was a member of VFW Post #477 Carlisle.

Surviving are his wife:  Gloria (Britton) Martin; two daughters:  Jessica Miller of Hawaii and Melissa Thomas of Shiremanstown; three grandchildren and a great grandson.

Memorial services will be held on Sunday, September 11, 2022 at 2:00 PM from the Ronan Funeral Home, 255 York Road, Carlisle, with Chaplain Ed Rabenstein officiating.  Burial, with military honors, will be at 10:30 AM on Tuesday, September 13, 2022 at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.

Visitation will be at the funeral home on Sunday from 1-2 PM.

Those attending the burial should meet at Ronan Funeral Home by 9:15 AM Tuesday.
