MARTHA ANN HARDING JAMIESON
Martha “Ann” Jamieson, 87, of Boiling Springs, passed away on April 18, 2024 at UPMC Carlisle.
Born October 23, 1936 in Elizabeth, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Clarke T. and Martha (Fisher) Harding. Ann was the widow of Lt. Col. (Retired) James R. Jamieson, who died June 2, 2019.
She was a graduate of Colby College in Waterville, Maine.
Earlier in life she had been employed at the former Bon-Ton in Carlisle and York Federal Savings & Loan in Boiling Springs.
Ann was an award-winning painter of flowers, dogs, Boiling Springs landscapes, Civil War generals, and Abraham Lincoln. She painted the mural at Boiling Spring’s Ecker Field. An avid reader, Ann was also a proud patriot and ardent bird watcher. She was blessed with wonderful friends. Her most special interest was her family, who will miss her more than words can describe.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Dr. Clarke Turner Harding, Jr.
Surviving are her children: Dr. Pamela Jamieson Lassiter of Carlisle, PA, David Jamieson (Diane) of St. Augustine, FL, Dr. Timothy Jamieson (Michele) of St. Simons Island, GA, and Jennifer Jamieson Stahl (William, Jr.) of Hastings, FL. Grandchildren: David A. Kuitems, Rebecca A. Trull (Nathaniel), Anna C. Lassiter, Turner A. Jamieson, Henry A. Jamieson, George A. Jamieson, Isabella M. Jamieson, Jamieson D. Simon, Maggie A. Simon, Harper A. Stahl, and William R. Stahl, III. Great Grandson: Theodore N. Trull and a sister: Harriet Kastelic (Robert).
Memorial services will be held at 9:00 A. M. on May 17, 2024 at the Ronan Funeral Home, 255 York Road, Carlisle. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 8:30 to 9:00 AM. Inurnment will follow at Fort Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville, PA.
