MARY ANN HENRY
Mary Ann Henry, 89, of Carlisle, died on Monday, May 20, 2024, at Cumberland Crossings Retirement Community, Carlisle.
Born March 13, 1935, in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late Alfred and Edna (Castor) Bauer. Mrs. Henry was the widow of Robert E. Henry, who died November 13, 2005.
Mary Ann was retired from Claremont Nursing & Rehabilitation Center where she was the Director of Medical Records. She had also waitressed at the former Carlisle Farmers Market Restaurant.
A member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, Carlisle, she enjoyed helping with making their peanut butter Easter eggs. She also enjoyed jigsaw puzzles, going out to dinner, and spending time with her family.
She was preceded in death by sisters Edna Kucinski, Virginia Clarke, Ruth Gillespie, and brothers Alfred and Harold Bauer.
Mary Ann is survived by her children, Robert W. (Anita) Henry and Paul E. (Karen) Henry, both of Carlisle, and Mary Ellen (Lyn) Super, of Bethlehem. She is also survived by her sister Elizabeth (Harry) Smith, of Zieglerville; brother-in-law David Clarke; six grandchildren: Kyle Super, Lindsay (Anthony) Graziano, Ashley (Christopher) Jones, Nathan (Megan) Henry, Kristen (Dustin) Lehman, and Taylor Henry; and six great-grandchildren: Brooklyn and Morgan Lehman, Landon and Lillian Jones, and Autumn and Ember Henry.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, May 29, 2024, at 11:00 AM at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 201 W. Louther Street, Carlisle, with the Rev. Titus Clarke officiating. Burial will follow in Westminster Memorial Gardens, Carlisle. Viewings will be at the Ronan Funeral Home, 255 York Road, Carlisle, on Tuesday, May 28, 2024, from 6:00-8:00 PM and at the church on Wednesday from 10:00-11:00 AM.
