MARY K. ROLLINS

Mary K. “Kat” Rollins, 55, of Carlisle, passed away on Saturday, November 25, 2023 at UPMC Carlisle.

Born October 21, 1968 in Union, SC  she was the daughter of Ann (Langley) Rollins of Philadelphia and the late Edgar F. Rollins.

Kat was a chef by profession and was currently assisting her companion with recycling old barns.

She was a graduate of Conewago Valley High School.  She had also attended Jefferson County Schools, Louisville, KY and graduated from the York County School of Technology. and was a member of Eagles Aerie #1299, Carlisle, where she had previously worked as a chef.

Kat had a quick wit and loved singing.  Music was her life and she was a true free spirit. She adored the “Grateful Dead” band.

Surviving in addition to her mother is her son:  Jake Dixon of Carlisle, two sisters: Beth and Kim of Philadelphia and her companion Kenneth Adams of Carlisle as well as three nieces: Elizabeth and Rachel  Groden and Spencer Kamens.

Celebration of Life services will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, December 2, 2023 from the Ronan Funeral Home, 255 York Road, Carlisle.  Visitation will be at the funeral home on Saturday from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM.  Final services will be private at the convenience of the family.
