NICOLE MICHELE HOLMES

Nicole M. “Nikki” Holmes, 43, of Harrisburg, passed away peacefully on December 20, 2023 at UPMC Osteopathic Hospital, surrounded by her loved ones.

Born December 14, 1980 in Harrisburg, she was the daughter of Rhonda J. Bechtel of Harrisburg and Christopher L. Jorich, Sr. of Delaware.

Nikki had been employed by Giant Foods and Rutters.  She was a 1999 graduate of Lower Dauphin High School, where she played the flute in the marching band and was a member of the band color guard.  She also attended HACC.

Surviving in addition to her parents are two sons: Alex and Shawn Westenberger of Harrisburg; a brother:  Christopher L. Jorich, Jr. of Arizona; and her stepmother Kathy Jorich of Delaware.  Also surviving are her maternal grandfather Russell Bechtel of Middletown, many aunts, uncles and cousins, and her beloved cat Marshmallow.

She was preceded in death by her beloved daughter Victoria Westenberger, maternal grandmother Beverly Bechtel, and paternal grandparents Luban and Shirley Jorich.

Services will be held at a later date to be announced by her family.
