RALPH M. RICHWINE, JR.

Ralph M. Richwine, Jr. 96, of Carlisle, passed away at home on Saturday, December 2, 2023.

Born in Carlisle on July 21, 1927, he was the son of the late Ralph M. Richwine, Sr. and Mabel (Yost) Richwine.  He was the widower of Annie (Keck) Richwine who died May 4, 2015. They had been married for nearly 67 years.

Ralph served his country in the Army Air Corps during World War II.  He was a member of Dickinson Presbyterian Church.

He held many jobs over the years but was mostly employed as a carpenter and as a carpet installer for M & Z Carpets.  He retired from the former AMP, Inc. 

He was preceded in death by a son, Ralph M. Richwine, III, a granddaughter, Mallory Marie Watson, sisters Dorris Rhoads, June Gurthall,  Lois Wagner and Janet Thrush and brothers Paul, Earl, Jay and Donald Richwine.

Surviving are his children:  Debra  ( Donald) Watson and Timothy (Elizabeth) Richwine, both of Carlisle, a sister, Flo Keck of Carlisle and a brother, Lee Richwine of Carlisle.  Also surviving are grandchildren: Nicole Richwine, Courtney Richwine, Christopher Watson, Mackenzie Irwin, Cassidy (David) Whiting, Kayla (Matt) Armistead, Tessa (Blake) Hein, Kyle (Samantha) Richwine, Trevor Richwine and great grandchildren Dylan and Hudson Irwin, Finley Whiting, Dorothy Hein and Eleanora Whiting.

Private graveside services will be held at Westminster Cemetery, Carlisle at the convenience of the family.  There will be no viewing or visitation.
