RICHARD E. KECK 

Richard E. Keck, 84, of Carlisle passed away at his home on July 11, 2024, surrounded by his loving family.

Richard was married to Betty (Putt) Keck after 65 years He is survived by his wife and also his daughters Cynthia Cornell of Duncannon, PA and Stephanie Peters of Carlisle, 4 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. He is also survived by sisters, Barbara Sengbusch of Florida, Eleanor Karper of Pennsylvania and Helen Speed of Florida.

 Ridhard was born July 2, 1940 in Carlisle, he was the son of the late Mervin I. Keck, Sr. and Bessie J. (Russell) Keck.

Mr. Keck was retired from Frog, Switch & Manufacturing Company and was a member of Carlisle First Church of God. He was a graduate of Big Spring High School. 

 He was preceded in death by two sons, Bryan S. Keck of Pennsylvania and Gregory W. Keck of Pennsylvania, his sisters Katharine Norrell, Peggy Bloser and Doris Smyser and brothers, Mervin I.Keck, Jr. and Roland Keck.

 Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, July 16, 2024 at 2:00 P. M. at the Ronan Funeral Home, 255 York Road, Carlisle, with Chaplain Ed Rabenstein officiating. Viewing will be at the funeral home one hour prior to the service. Private burial will be in Westminster Memorial Gardens.
