RICHARD G. NELSON
Richard G. Nelson, 85 of Dillsburg died Wednesday, February 25, 2015 at the Sarah A. Todd Memorial Home, Carlisle.
Born June 27, 1929 in Dillsburg, he was a son of the late George W. and Pearl (King) Nelson. He was the widower of Gay L. (Reed) Nelson, who died February 13, 2014.
Mr. Nelson was retired from Bethany Village, Mechanicsburg where he had worked in the Housekeeping Department. He loved bowling and fishing.
He is survived by two sons: Michael of Chambersburg and David of Dillsburg; a brother: Kenneth Nelson of Wellsville, PA; five granddaughters: Tara of Mechanicsburg, Tanya of Newville, Andrea of Carlisle, Erika of Alexandria, Va and Penny of Oregon and 13 Great Grandchildren.
Memorial services will be held at 2:00 P. M. on Friday, March 13, 2015 from Christ Lutheran Church (Filey’s), 15 S. Filey’s Road, Dillsburg with the Rev. Debbie Mahady officiating. Burial will be in the adjoining church cemetery.
