ROBERT TERRY BARNHART
Robert Terry Barnhart, 64, of Mechanicsburg, passed away on Sunday, May 14, 2017 at home.
Born August 8, 1952 in Chambersburg, he was a son of the late Ivan P. Barnhart Jr. and Helen (Churches) Barnhart.
Bob retired after over 30 years of service as the Deputy Director of Contracting for the Naval Inventory Control Point, Mechanicsburg. After retirement he founded Logistics & Acquisition Partners.
An avid golfer, he also enjoyed spending time with family and friends and traveling.
Surviving are his wife of 45 years: Ginger (Bowers) Barnhart; a son: Bo Barnhart ( and wife Erin Griffiths) of San Francisco, CA; a daughter: Kristi Hart (and husband Brian) of Perkiomenville, PA; two brothers: Dennis Barnhart of Chambersburg and Steven Barnhart of St. Thomas; three grandchildren: Ellie, Henry and Maeve.
Memorial services will be held at 11:00 A. M. Saturday, May 20, 2017 from Mt. Zion Lutheran Church, 325 Old Stonehouse Rd., S, Boiling Springs, with the Rev. Deborah L. Brumbaugh officiating. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family. Visitation will be at the Ronan Funeral Home, 255 York Road, Carlisle on Friday from 6:00 P. M. until 8:00 P. M.
