ROBERT B. CALLOWAY

Robert B. Calloway, 76, of South Middleton Township, Cumberland County, Pa, died Saturday, March 5, 2011 in the Forest Park Health Center, Carlisle.

Born Dec. 31, 1934 in Sopchoppy, FL, he was a son of the late Jessies and Essie Mae (Sermon) Calloway.

Mr. Calloway was a road driver for Harley Davidson Motorcycles and was a veteran of the Korean War.  He was a graudate of Florida A&M High School and a member of Teamster’s Local #776.

Surviving are his children:  Aquilla Crosby (and husband Joseph) of West Chester, PA; Gregory Calloway of Harrisburg, PA; Marcia Calloway of Iselin, NJ; Denetra Caloway of Virginia Beach VA, Larry Bellamy of Tallahassee, FL and Bobbi Joyce and 11 grandchildren.

Mr. Calloway’s extended family includes:  Beverly Van Brakle of South Middleton Twp.; her children:  Chrystal Van Brakle-Franklin of Ewa Beach, HI; John B. and Stacey Smith-Van Brakle of Shippensburg.  The six Van Brakle grandchildren will greatrly miss and lovingly remember their “Pappy”.

Graveside services will be held on Thursday March 10, 2011 in Tallahassee Memorial Gardens, Tallahassee FL.
