RONALD E. GUTSHALL
Ronald Eugene Gutshall, 65, of Carlisle, departed this life on January 30, 2017 at home, surrounded by family and friends.
Born July 12, 1951 in Mechanicsburg, he was a son of the late Clarence and Isabel (Early) Gutshall.
Mr. Gutshall had been employed at Rite Aid Corporation as a loader. He had also worked in the Maintenance Department of Cumberland Valley High School.
He was a graduate of Cumberland Valley High School and was a member of the New Kingstown Fire Company and the Lighthouse Church, Newville. Ron loved to collect toy trucks, especially Hess models.
He was preceded in death by a son: Nathan Gutshall.
Surviving are his wife: Flo (Mellott) Gutshall; a daughter: Jody Green of South Carolina; four stepsons: Ray Neidigh, Randy Neidigh, and Tony Neidigh, all of Carlisle and Larry Neidigh of Newport; a brother: James Gutshall of Carlisle; two grandchildren, 4 step grandchildren and 6 step great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, February 3, 2017 from the Ronan Funeral Home, Carlisle, with Pastor Donald L. Mains, Sr., officiating. Burial will follow in Westminster Memorial Gardens, Carlisle. Viewing will be at the funeral home on Friday from 10:00 AM until time of service.
