ROSELLA WALTON

Rosella “Toots” Walton,  85, of Boiling Springs, passed away at home on Sunday, June 24, 2018 surrounded by friends and family.

Born November 11, 1932 in Sewickley, PA, she was a daughter of the late  Charles E. and Elizabeth (Pasternack) McGrew.  She was the widow of Jesse E. Walton, who passed on March 20, 2000.

Mrs. Walton was retired from Cumberland County where she was a supervisor.  She had also been employed at the former Pleasant Inn, Carlisle.

Toots was a former Sunday School Teacher and a volunteer for the Pioneer Girls.

She was a member of Hermine #2 United Methodist Church, Hermine, PA and New Community Church, Carlisle.

Rosella was preceded in death by three brothers:  Charles, Richard and Ronald McGrew.

Surviving are three daughters:  Elizabeth (Libby) Grimes of Carlisle, Rose Ann Walton of Enola and Mary Stouffer of Carlisle; a son:  Fred Walton of Linglestown and four grandchildren:  Corey Grant, Derek Grimes, Lauryn Stouffer and Elexis (Lexi) Stouffer.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 30, 2018 at 2:00 P. M. at New Life Community Church, 64 E. North St., Carlisle with Pastor Ryan Brown officiating.  Viewings will be at the Ronan Funeral Home, 255 York Road, Carlisle on Friday from 7-9 P.M. and also at the church on Saturday from 1-2 P.M.  Burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
