ROY E. THOMAS
Roy E. Thomas, 62, of Carlisle, died at home on Sunday, October 18, 2015.
Born July 23, 1953 in Florence, AL, he was a son of the late Anthony Thomas Jr. and Wilma Mae (Peters) Thomas.
Mr. Thomas was a 1972 graduate of Finney High School in Detroit, Michigan. He was employed as a forklift operator at Excel Logistics.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother: Ernest Ray Thomas, Sr.
Surviving are four brothers: Lee Andrews Thomas, Sam Franklin Thomas and Billy Joe Thomas, all of Detroit, Michigan; Larry Thomas of Carlisle and a sister: Tanya Underwood of Sheffield, Alabama. Additionally he is survived by many aunts, uncle, cousins and friends.
Memorial services will be held at 12 Noon on Friday, October 23, 2015 from the Ronan Funeral Home, 255 York Road, Carlisle. Burial will follow in Westminster Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Friday from 11:00 A.M. until time of service.
