Sharon D. Vasser, 50, of Carlisle, passed away on Wednesday, October 30, 2019 at UPMC Carlisle.

Born September 14, 1969 in Fitzgerald, GA, she was the daughter of Floyd Vasser, Jr., of Ann Arbor, MI and the late Beatrice (Studstill) Vasser.

Sharon most recently operated her own business, “Essence”, an upscale jewelry shop.

She was a U S Army Veteran of the Persian Gulf War.

Surviving in addition to her father are three daughters:  LaQuinda (Pierre) Tatum; La’Pricia Hodge and La’Najah Hodge;  her siblings:  Sharea Brooks, Asmara Vasser, Rwanda Vasser and Jamie Caradine as well as grandchildren:  Daijah Burgess, Xzavior and Amelia Tatum.

Visitation will be at the Ronan Funeral Home, 255 York Road, Carlisle on Saturday, November 2, 2019 from 8:30 to 10:30 A. M.  Followed by prayers at The Peace Centre, 505 Cavalry Road, Carlisle.  Burial will follow in Cumberland Valley Memorial Gardens.
